North Canaan Recreation Commission Mission:
The North Canaan Recreation Commission provides recreational opportunities for the residents of North Canaan through the organization and development of seasonal athletics as well as through the care, improvement, and enhancement of the town's facilities. The Commission will provide a fair and equal opportunity for participation without bias to race, income, age, sex, or ability and will put the welfare and safety of participants first. The Commission, through the Recreation Director, is entrusted with this responsibility and is obligated to accomplish this purpose and provide a strong recreation program.
